Working Holiday Scheme has been signed between HKSAR and Ireland

On 21 January 2005, Memorandum of “Working Holiday Scheme” was signed between Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSPR) and Ireland, which has initiated from 1 March 2005. “Working Holiday Scheme” aims at facilitating the cultural and educational exchange, and strengthening the bilateral relationship between HKSPR and Ireland. Successful applicant can obtain a Working Holiday Visa valid up to 12 months. Under that circumstance, he/she may take up short-term employment but is not allowed to work for the same employer for more than 3 months.
