U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, Special Envoy of U.S. President, to Visit China

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Liu Jianchao announces:

U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, special envoy of U.S. President, will pay a visit to China from July 29th to August 1st. He will exchange views with the Chinese side on issues including advancing the China- U.S. Strategic Economic Dialogue. During his stay in Beijing, President Hu Jintao will meet with him. Vice Premier Wu Yi, special envoy of Chinese President, will hold talks with him. Secretary Paulson will also visit environmental protection projects in Qinghai Province.
