China and Russia Sign Multiple Cooperation Documents

Premier of the State Council Wen Jiabao and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin held their 14th regular meeting in Beijing on October 13, 2009. The two sides signed the following documents during the meeting:

- Joint Communiqué of the 14th Regular Meeting of Chinese and Russian Prime Ministers

- Minute of the 13th Meeting of the Joint Commission for the Regular Prime Ministers' Meetings

- Minute of the 10th Meeting of the Committee on China-Russia Cultural Cooperation

- Roadmap of Implementing the Natural Gas Cooperation MOU Signed on June 24, 2009

- Agreement of the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Russian Federation on Informing Each Other of Launch of Ballistic Missile and Carrier Rocket

- Agreement of the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Russian Federation on Establishing Cultural Centers Mutually

- MOU of the Ministry of Railways of the People's Republic of China, the Russian Federation Ministry of Transport and Russian Railways AG on Organizing and Developing Fast and High-speed Rail Transport within the Territory of the Russian Federation

- MOU of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federal Customs Agency on Standardizing Customs Clearance Supervision

- 2010-2012 China-Russia Space Cooperation Outline

- Framework Agreement of Russian Export of Natural Gas to China

- MOU of China National Petroleum Corporation and Rosneft on Promoting Upstream and Downstream Project Cooperation

- MOU of China National Nuclear Corporation and Russia's Atomic Energy Corporation on Issues Related with Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant

- China-Russia Cooperative Construction of China's Demonstration FBR Pre-design Study Contract

The heads of state of China and Russia jointly announced the establishment of the mechanism of regular meetings between prime ministers of the two countries in April 1996. According to the bilateral agreement, the two heads of government will hold the regular meeting annually to exchange opinions in a timely manner on the bilateral relations and major international issues of common concern.
