(2016-06-03)

Welcome to the Chinese Embassy in Ireland.

It is our privilege being able to help you with our website to know more of China and Ireland, and to serve in your traveling, studying or working in the two nations as our friendly bilateral relationship getting ever closer and stronger.

Ireland, better known as "Emerald Isles" for her world famous greenness embraced with blue seas all around, has long history, rich culture and appealing scenery. With talented men and women of letters, art, lyric and dancing in global status, it brings graceful joy to mankind and attracts tourists by millions. The Irish people through their hardworking and innovative efforts have successfully transformed their traditional economy into a new open information-technology oriented one over recent decades, envied by very many in the world.

Ever since 1979 when Sino-Irish diplomatic ties established, China and Ireland relationship has witnessed rapid growth. With mutual understanding deepening and people-to-people friendship expanding, I am sure that our strategic partnership for mutually beneficial cooperation will bear even greater fruits in the years to come with brightest future in store. This website is to serve as a window and a bridge between the Chinese community here in Ireland and our homeland, through which we connect, communicate, make friends and together tap the potential of our ties to the full.

We are committed to offering professional and quality consular services with a view to optimizing the "overseas livelihood project". My colleagues and I are ready to provide best efforts to raise with your support China-Ireland friendship and cooperation to a new high.

Meanwhile, your comments and suggestions would be highly appreciated.
