From 20 November 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Ireland will cancel the online appointment for China visa application. Visa applicants can go to the consular department from 9am to 12am every Monday to Thursday to submit their visa application on-site without making an appointment. Other visa application procedures and material requirements remain unchanged. Please follow the application steps below

1.  Fill out the visa application form online (https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn),  download and print out the full application form, and sign the confirmation page. 

2. Go to the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy (118 Merrion Road, Dublin 4) to submit application papers and related passports.

3. A kind reminder. After cancellation of online appointment, there might be more applicants on-site during peak hours. Applicants are recommended to arrange the time reasonably and avoid peak hours which normally fall on Mondays, Tuesdays and around public holidays.
