Ambassador Yue meets with Mr. Enda Kenny T.D.

On July 4th, 2017, H.E.Dr. Yue Xiaoyong had a meeting in Leinster House with Mr. Enda Kenny T.D., former Taoiseach.

Mr. Kenny pleasantly recalled the development of China-Ireland relations and bilateral high-level visits in his term as Taoiseach. He expressed his willingness to continue the effort of strengthening the Sino-Irish ties in future.

Ambassador Yue highly appreciated Mr. Kenny’sgreat contribution to China-Ireland Strategic Partnership for Mutually Beneficial Cooperation which was established in 2012 with the joint efforts from two leaderships, laying a solid foundation for the further deepening and expanding of China-Ireland exchanges and cooperation at all levels and in various fields.

Both agreed to jointly maintain the sound momentum of China-Ireland relations and further the bilateral bonds.

Also at present was Mme. Yang Hua, Counsellor of the Embassy.
