Chinese Ambassador Attends 10th Anniversary of BOCOMM Leasing Aviation

On Monday, 22nd January 2018, H.E. Dr. Yue Xiaoyong, Chinese Ambassador to Ireland attended a cocktail reception in Dublin marking the 10th Anniversary of the establishment of BOCOMM Leasing Aviation as well as the relocation of its branch in Ireland, together with senior executives of the company and H.E. Mr. Michael D’Arcy, Irish Minister of State at the Department of Finance and the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform with special responsibility for Financial Services and Insurance.

Congratulating BOCOMM Leasing Aviation on its accomplishments, the Ambassador welcomed the company’s plans to expand its international operations and enhance its presence in Europe by utilizing the good business conditions in Ireland.

Ambassador Yue gave the attendees of the reception an update on the developments in China, highlighting the success and significance of the 19th CPC National Congress and expressed his confidence in China’s continued robust development according to the grand blueprint unveiled by the Congress.

Minister D’Arcy shared the Chinese Ambassador’s pleasure with the positive development momentum that China-Ireland relationship has enjoyed over recent years, articulating the political commitment of the Irish Government to a stronger and fruitful partnership between the two countries.

Also present at the event were about 150 people, including Mme. Xue Hue, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy, Ms. Eileen Sharpe, Head of Growth Markets in IDA, Mr. Liu Qiang, President of Bank of Communications London Branch, and Ms. Li Ru, Vice President of BOCOMM Leasing.
