Ambassador Yue Xiaoyong Visits County Monaghan

On 17th December, H.E. Dr. Yue Xiaoyong, Chinese Ambassador to Ireland, met with Cllr. David Maxwell, Cathaoirleach of County Monaghan, and Mr. Eamonn O’Sullivan, Chief Executive of Monaghan County Council in County Monaghan.

Ambassador Yue exchanged views with Cllr. David Maxwell on Monaghan’s cooperation with China and expressed his appreciation on Monaghan County Council’s efforts to strengthen relationship with China. Both agreed to jointly further promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields.

After the meeting, Ambassador Yue visited three local companies: Manor Farm, Silver Hill and Combilift.

Ms. Luolan Jin, First Secretary of the Commercial Section, Mr. Yang Wei of Chinese Embassy and Mr. Paul Clifford of Monaghan County Council joined the meeting and visit.
