Ambassador He Xiangdong Visits DCU

On December 5, Ambassador He Xiangdong paid a visit to Dublin City University and met with Professor Brian MacCraith, President of DCU.

Ambassador He spoke highly of the fruitful educational cooperation between China and Ireland. He said that the China-Ireland cooperation in education enjoys great potential, and hoped to see more complementary and mutually beneficial collaborations between DCU and Chinese universities.

Professor MacCraith expressed DCU's willingness to further enhance student and faculty mobility and joint research with its Chinese counterparts.

Also present were Prof. Daire Keogh, Deputy President of DCU, Mr. Trevor Holmes, Vice President of DCU for External Affairs, and Mr. Dawei Zheng, Education Attaché of the Embassy.
