Dublin Chinese Year Festival 2020 launched

On Jan. 8, Dublin Chinese Year Festival 2020 was launched at Dublin's historic Fruit and Vegetable Market which will be the venue for the family-friendly Chinese New Year of Rat celebration.

Deputy Chief of Mission and Counselor Huang He joined the Deputy Lord Mayor Cllr. Tom Brabazon at the launch ceremony.

The highlights of the 20-day celebration include a selection of galas and concerts, exhibitions, live performances including “Here is Chengdu - Family Event”, Inner Mongolian ethnic dance and the two days’ Spring Festival Fair. Many buildings and landmarks across Ireland will light up in festive red again to welcome the New Year.
