Ambassador Yue Attends the Completion Ceremony of Eurbest Dairy EmeRí Nutrition

On April 2, H.E. Dr. Yue Xiaoyong, Chinese Ambassador to Ireland, and Mr. Xu Dazhe, Governor of Hunan Province, attended the completion ceremony of Eurbest Dairy EmeRí Nutrition in Navan, County Meath. Also present were H.E. Mr. Michael Creed, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Mr. Damien English, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Ms. Jackie Maguire, Chief Executive of Meath County Council, Mme. Xue He, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy, and Mr. Wang Deliang, Chairman of Eurbest Dairy.

In his address, Governor Xu extended his congratulation on the EmeRí factory and briefed on Hunan's strategy of opening up and rising up driving by innovation. He reaffirmed Hunan’s determination to work with the Irish side to deepen exchanges and cooperation in all fields.

Ambassador Yue said that 2019 marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Ireland and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and the Chinese Embassy would continue to work for the enhancement of bilateral exchanges and cooperation between China and Ireland in various fields.

Minister Creed pointed out that the Irish side attaches great importance to Ireland-China relations, and would like to see the continuously deepening of bilateral friendship and cooperation.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was later held to mark the completion of the Nutrition project.
