Ambassador Yue Attends Dinner in Celebration of Sino-Irish Ties

On 12th April 2019, H.E. Dr. Yue Xiaoyong, Chinese Ambassador to Ireland, attended a Business Dinner jointly held by Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC) and China Europe Business Association (CEBA) to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Ireland.

Ambassador Yue made a keynote speech focusing on Sino-Irish Relations, emphasizing that China will continue to carry out the Reform and Opening-up, to support multilateralism and to expand cooperation with all countries. Ambassador Yue encouraged both Chinese and Irish businesses to join hands to tap the tremendous potential in bilateral ties with a view to making stronger friendship and achieving greater prosperity.

CEO of Ibec Mr. Danny McCoy and Head of FDI of Bank of Ireland Mr. Derek Collins also addressed the event, which was attended by nearly 100 guests from both countries.

Madam Xue He, Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy also participated in the event.
