H.E. Ambassador He Xiangdong Arrives in Dublin

On Friday, May 3, 2019, H.E. Mr. He Xiangdong, new Chinese Ambassador to Ireland arrived in Dublin. Mr. Huang He, Political Counelor of the Embassy, and Ms. Marylee Wall, Assistant Chief of Protocol of Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland, received Ambassador He at the Dublin International Airport.

On behalf of the Irish Government, Ms. Wall extended warm welcome to Ambassador He. Ambassador He said that he feels privileged to serve as the new Chinese Ambassador to Ireland in the year of 2019, which marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and Ireland. He looks forward to working with all sides in Ireland to further promote the China-Ireland Strategic Partnership for Mutually Beneficial Cooperation and strengthen the friendship between two countries.
